Description/Interesting Notes: A classic, old time example of of descloizite after vanadinite from Namibia!!! This specimen consists of a very large, complex crystal of vanadinite that has altered to descloizite!!! These old time "pseudomorphs" almost always still have a core of vanadinite - which can clearly be seen on the bottom of this specimen!!! The crystal has a complex habit and is covered with complex crystals of darkly colored descloizite!!! This specimen retains an old label from Ward's as well!!! Classic material!!!
