Arsenatian Vanadinite after Wulfenite Los Lamentos Mts, Mun. de Ahumada, Chihuahua, Mexico 7.37cm x 4.66cm x 2.55cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of vanadinite after wulfenite from Los Lamentos!!! This specimen consists of a group of large, blocky crystals of wulfenite that have been replaced by fine, sparkling, prismatic root-beer colored crystals of arsenatian vanadinite (sometimes known as endlichite)!!! There are a few small areas where one can see some exposed wulfenite, but it is clear that there is some significant pseudomorphic replacement as well with some of the crystals being entirely replaced!!! There are some tiny unidentified pinkish crystals in minor association as well!!! Simply a fantastic Los Lamentos classic!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
