Description/Interesting Notes:
A very rare example of gordonite with variscite from this classic Utah locale!!! This specimen consists of rich, colorful nodule of green variscite that hosts
a magnificent combination of rare and crystalline species from this famed locality!!! Gordonite was named for legendary mineralogist Sam Gordon!!!
Fine gordonite crystals from this locality are extremely rare and highly sought after!!! This specimen hosts oustanding, terminated, translucent blue-green
crystals of gordonite to 3.25mm!!! There is a rich cluster of gordonite crystals as well as flattened crystalline groups and masses
included in the associated species!!! In addition to the gordonite, there are significant showings of white, crystalline balls of millisite!!! While wardite and crandallite
are commonly seen from this locality - this specimen hosts vugs lined with actual, sharp crystals of crandallite - crystalline examples of crandallite are very rare indeed!!!
In addition to these rare and crystalline species, this specimen hosts a significant portion of intensely colored variscite as well!!! This
is a killer, old time rarity from this famed locality's heyday!!! The pictures don't even come close to doing it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
Don't miss out on this valuable rarity!!!
