Vesuvianite Jeffrey Mine, Asbestos, Shipton Township, Richmond Co., Québec, Canada 4.15cm x 1.3cm x 1.14cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of vesuvianite from this famous locale!!! This unique specimen consists of an unusually elongated, flared crystal of vesuvianite!!! The crystal is a doubly terminated floater with no point of attachement whatsoever!!! Both ends of the crystal show complex terminations comprised of numerous tiny faces!!! The crystal is sharp all around, with glassy luster, high translucent to near gemmy clarity, and lively green color!!! An aesthetic, and unusual example of vesuvianite from this now closed locale!!!
