Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of this very rare silver-bearing species from France!!! This specimen hosts a very rich showing of silvery vikingite in quartz matrix!!! The vikingite is richly distributed throughout the specimen as silvery metallic crystals embedded in the matrix!!! There is a small amount of galena present as well, however the specimen is quite rich with eye-visible vikingite crystals!!! This specimen is loaded with silvery metallic vikingite and it is much more dynamic than the pictures show!!! In person it is immediately apparent just how rich and significant this specimen is!!! Simply an outstanding example of this rare and sought after species!!! This specimen is from the collection of Joe Cilen and retains his original label as well!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
