Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of vivianite from Florida!!! Florida is not known for its mineral wealth and, with the exception of agatized coral, mineral specimens from Florida are quite scarce!!! This specimen hosts a sharp, terminated, 2.25cm crystal of vivianite prominently perched on lightly colored matrix!!! The crystal is complete with sharp, glassy faces and gemmy clarity!!! The crystal exhibits dark green color that shows pleochroic highlights of blue!!! Rare locality material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
