Description/Interesting Notes: An amazing, old time example of vivianite from this rare locality!!! These Cameroon vivianites are VERY scarce, and this one is a KILLER!!! This specimen exhibits the extraordinary, large feather-like form that is so characteristic of this locale!!! This is a museum-worthy specimen consisting of a spray of slightly divergent, large feather-like crystals!!! The crystals are highly lustrous and have a very dark greenish black color!!! The crystals are complete all around and are way, WAY better than the pics show!!! It was very difficult to capture just how unique, showy, and dramatic this specimen is in person!!! These old Cameroon vivianites are quite rare and I have only ever seen single "feathers" - however this is a gorgeous SPRAY of these amazing crystals!!!
