Description/Interesting Notes:
A fantastic example of this very rare silver bearing species from Bisbee!!! This specimen consists of a mass of
pyrite, in association with some sphalerite that hosts a significant showing of silvery gray volynskite!!! The volynskite
is present as silvery gray micro-grains and masses scattered about the specimen!!! Upon close inspection with a loupe or scope there
is a significant showing of silvery gray material distributed throughout the pyrite and sphalerite as well!!! A very significant
example of this very rare species!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! This specimen is from the collection of
Tony Nikischer!!! We just acquired the 6000+ specimen
