Description/Interesting Notes:A fantastic example of this rare species from the type locality!!! This specimen hosts a pair of sharp, lustrous welogonite crystals to 1.8cm prominently perched in a small vug!!! This is an extraordinary example of weloganite indeed!!! Yellow welogonites like this are the rarest and most highly sought after varietal of this already rare species!!! Rarely does one see crystals of such sharpness, luster, and clarity!!! The crystals have glassy luster, RICH yellow color, and incredible clarity for the species - the crystals are actually gemmy (much better than the pics show)!!! In addition, the main termination is razor sharp!!! The pics don't even come close to doing this rare beauty justice!!! There are also two other unidentified species in association (tiny colorless, gemmy crystals line the vug and there are other translucent etched clusters of barrel-shaped crystals) as well!!!
