Description/Interesting Notes:
A terrific example of willemite from Tsumeb!!! This specimen is comprised almost entirely of gemmy willemite perched on fine limonitic "rods" and accented by a
few scattered calcite crystals!!! The willemite crystals have marked clarity and light blue color (save for one prominent yellow willemite crystal)!!! The willemite crystals are present as
intergrown groups of hexagonal prisms!!! There are dense groups of crystals that are almost botroidal in form as well as scattered crystals
that are prominent and sharply defined!!! There is a prominent willemite crystal that has a curious yellow color as well!!! There
are scattered groups of small, white calcite crystals in association as well!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
