Description/Interesting Notes:
An absolutely incredible combination of rare crystalline species from Franklin!!! This specimen is loaded with gemmy, prismatic crystals
of willemite that range in color from near colorless to straw yellow in association with numerous fine, gemmy,
purplish pink crystals of tephroite and complex crystals of deep red friedelite!!! The willemite crystals are intensely fluorescent under SW UV and
glow a brilliant green even under full lighting!!! The tephroite crystals are much more numerous and significant than the pictures show!!! There are
eye visible crystals with sharp, lustrous faces and there are significant areas of the specimen that appear to be comprised of crystalline tephroite as well!!! The
friedelite crystals are present as complex, upright crystals that have a curious, almost rice-grain like habit and striking red color!!!
This specimen is LOADED with crystalline material and upon close inspection there was anther very well crystallized unidentified
species present as well!!! This is an extraordinary specimen in so many regards - this specimen NEEDS to be seen in person, there is
a lot going on and the pictures don't even come close to doing it justice!!! This specimen retains an old label from Bill Pinch!!! Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!! STAY TUNED!!! MORE AUCTIONS WILL BE ADDED SATURDAY NIGHT FOR A SPECIAL 5-DAY AUCTION, ENDING THURSDAY OCTOBER 6th!!!
