Description/Interesting Notes:
An outstanding example of willemite from Namibia!!! This specimen is just loaded with sharp, prismatic crystals of willemite!!!
This specimen hosts significant clusters of crystals on every side as well as lining numerous vugs and cavities throughout the
specimen!!! The main vug of crystals hosts some of the most impressive willemite crystals I have ever seen from this locality!!!
The crystals in this vug are incredible - ranging in size to well over 1.3cm!!! The crystals actually have glassy, sharp terminations
upon close examination!!! There are a few small, complex crystals of calcite scattered about as well!!! This is an AMAZING
Berg Aukus willemite all around!!! WAY better than the pics show!!! Of course this specimen shows marked fluorescence as well - with the
willemite crystals showing a marked yellow-green fluorescence (for some reason it shows up bluish to the digital camera, however
in person it is a definite yellow green to the human eye!)!!! When under fluorescent lighting the elongated, prismatic crystals show a dramatic fiber-optic like
quality upon close examination!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
