Willemite with Malachite, Mimetite, & Dolomite Tsumeb, Namibia 5.44cm x 2.75cm x 1.9cm Ex. Howard Belsky

Description/Interesting Notes: A rare example of yellow cadmian willemite from Tsumeb!!! This specimen hosts a rich showing of gemmy, lively yellow crystals of rare yellow cadmian willemite in association with bright green balls of malachite, near colorless to whitish sprays of mimetite crystals, and sparkly white dolomite crystals!!! The willemite crystals are present as sharply formed, hexagonal, barrel-shaped prisms with gemmy clarity and glassy luster!!! The crystals exhibit fine yellow color which is quite rare at Tsumeb!!! Upon close inspection, there are some areas of willemite that have a very faint outer zone of pale blue!!! This specimen is way better than the pics show and there is a LOT more to see upon close inspection in person!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
