A magnificent example of witherite from Cave-in-Rock!!! This specimen more closely resembles a classic English witherite in form and color than
an Illinois witherite, however the minor association of blue and purple fluorite certainly confirms its identity!!! This specimen consists of a ball-like
cluster of small, pointy crystals that serves as a matrix for a pair of larger, sharply formed witherite crystals!!! The crystals have sharp faces and
a slightly bluish hue in several areas due to presence of colorful microcrystalline fluorite!!! This specimen is in pristine condition and displays magnificently
from almost every angle!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
