Description/Interesting Notes:
A fantastic example of this rare species from California!!! This specimen consists of a showy cluster of sharp, lustrous
quartz crystals that show a rich, selective coverage of tan colored woodhouseite crystals!!! The woodhouseite crystals
are sharp, lustrous, and have slight translucence!!! The woodhouseite crystals are selectively distributed
on the quartz crystals, meaning that the woodhouseite crystals all grew
on the same side of the quartz crystals - in a similar way one would see moss on trees in a forest!!! This rich, selective
growth of woodhouseite crystals, combined with their sparkly luster, gives the specimen a unique aesthetic in person!!! Overall
this is a very fine, and showy, example of this rare California species!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
