Stolzite-Wulfenite Series on Smoky Quartz Mount Malosa, Zomba District, Malawi 4cm x 2.9cm x 1.8cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of stolzite-wulfenite series crystals prominently perched on a smoky quartz crystal matrix!!! This is very exciting material indeed!!! One of the fun things about the Tucson show is that you never know just what might show up!!! There were just a handful of these curious specimens (already all gone!) that appeared in a dealers stock!!! Initially they were labelled as wulfenite, however it is suspected by some that the are likely stolzites!!! Until this material gets analyzed I have simply labelled it as stolzite-wulfenite series!!! This apparently was just an odd, one-off find!!! This particular specimen was the only one that had a quartz crystal matrix!!! The stolzite-wulfenite crystals are sharp, brilliantly lustrous, and have a unique near-white color!!! This specimen is loaded with sharp, complex crystals and displays quite handsomely as well!!! WAY better than the pics show!!! This is all I have of this material so don't miss out on this rare find!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
