Description/Interesting Notes:
An absolutely magnificent, old time example of wulfenite from the famed Hilltop Mine!!! These classic Hilltop Mine wulfenites are
among one of the most highly sought after and valued Arizona specimens and they are rarely seen on today's market!!! This specimen consists of a
showy cluster of classic yellow orange crystals of wulfenite
aesthetically perched atop a cluster of lustrous, complex calcite crystals!!! The wulfenite crystals are thick, lustrous, and intenesly colored!!!
The crystals have some highly complex habits with unusually rounded edges and range in size up to 1.3cm!!! Aside from a few, unnoticeable minor crystals,
all the main crystals are complete and undamaged!!! This specimen is in magnificent condition - virtually pristine as far as
these rare historic beauties go!!! The calcite crystals are quite fascinating as well - upon close examination they are quite unusual with sharp, highly lustrous
faces and curiously elongated habits!!! This specimen is from the collection of A.J. Beres and retains an old unattributed label as well!!! This specimen is a killer - the pics
don't even come close to doing it justice!!! Do not miss out on this rare and valuable beauty!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
