This specimen dates from the Ed Over era (circa 1940) and exhibits the characteristic appearance of those famed early specimens!!! This specimen consists of a large single crystal that is unusually thick and chunky by comparison to more recent material!!! The crystal has brilliant, glassy luster and choice intense orange-red color!!! The specimen has marked clarity with some areas having gemmy clarity!!! The specimen is in fantastic condition - especially given its age (just a few micro-dings that are barely noticeable in relation to its intense color)!!! This specimen is absolutely stunning in person!!! It is THESE wulfenite specimens that made this locality so famous!!! These old time Ed Over wulfenites are scarce and highly sought after!!!
