Description/Interesting Notes: A magnificent example of wurtzite from Connecticut!!! This specimen hosts a rich showing of sharp, pronounced crystals of wurtzite in association with sharp quartz points!!! The wurtzite crystals exhibit characteristic form, consisting of stacked groups of sharp hexagonal crystals!!! Upon close inspection there is a tiny amount of stilbite in association as well!!! This specimen retains an old label from famed collector Fred Pough that notes it was self collected by him!!! Simply an outstanding example of the species for the locality!!!
