Description/Interesting Notes:
A rare example of xanthitane from South Carolina!!! This specimen consists of a single, floater crystal of titanite that has been
completely replaced by anatase!!! Xanthitane is a varietal name for these unique pseudomorphs!!! These rare and unusual pseudomorphs are seldom seen this complete and well formed!!! While it is
difficult to appreciate fully in the pictures, this specimen has well defined faces and form!!! Simply a fantastic example of this
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
