Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of this rare species from New York!!! This specimen consists of a very compact, dense "book" of muscovite that hosts numerous thin sheets of gemmy purple yttrocerite!!! There are many more areas of yttrocerite than what it appears in the pictures, and likely many more could easily be revealed!!! The muscovite matrix has an unusually bright and pearly luster that really sets off the purple yttrocerite in a most appealing manner!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
