Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic, old time example of zircon with xanthitane from South Carolina!!! This specimen hosts a sharp, lustrous zircon crystal prominently perched on the matrix in association with a group of smaller zircon crystals, several crystals of rare anatase varietal xanthitane, as well as some minor riebeckite!!! The zircon crystals have a unique reddish-purplish brown color and the xanthitane pseudomorphs are very well formed, with sharp, lustrous faces!!!
