Description/Interesting Notes:
A fantastic, old time group of zircon specimens from Vietnam!!! This is a group of six individual zircon specimens of varying color that weigh a total of over 11 carats!!! The
crystals exhibit a somewhat alluvial appearance, however most of them show some euhedral features upon close inspection!!! The crystals are all facet grade clarity and have
completely natural color!!! Three of the crystals are near colorless and three of them exhibit a rich green color (one is even slightly bluish green)!!! This is rare and valuable
old time material - a far cry from the plentiful heat treated blue zirons from Cambodia commonly seen in the gem trade today!!! The specimens retain
an old label from Ward's that refers "Central Annam, French Indo-China" which dates the label to prior to 1949!!! The pics hardly do these specimens justice!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
