Description/Interesting Notes:
A rare, old time example of zircon from Franklin!!! This specimen consists of a matrix of massive, crystalline magnetite that
hosts numerous crystals of zircon scattered throughout!!! The zircon crystals have bright, glassy luster with
slight translucence and dark maroon color!!! The crystals range in size to over .7cm!!! This is OLD material and likely
dates to the late 1800's or early 1900's!!! The zircon crystals show a mild yellow fluorescence under SW UV!!! Rare material!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!! STAY TUNED!!! MORE AUCTIONS WILL BE ADDED MONDAY NIGHT FOR A SPECIAL 3-DAY AUCTION, ENDING THURSDAY JULY 19th!!!
