Description/Interesting Notes: A terrific example of this rare species from Arizona!!! This specimen hosts an unusually dense and rich distribution of sharp, lustrous, well pronounced zunyite crystals in association with some hematite!!! While specimens from this locality can have a somewhat unstable or crumbly matrix, this piece has a particularly stable matrix for the locality!!! The zunyite crystals are sharp, glassy, translucent to near gemmy, and range in color from tan to colorless!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! A very fine zunyite indeed!!!
