Description/Interesting Notes: An exceptional example of this rare species from Arizona!!! This specimen hosts a particularly large crystal of zunyite prominently perched on matrix!!! The crystal exhibits sharp pyramidal form with glassy faces and marked translucence!!! The overwhelming majority of zunyite crystals from this locality are in the 1-3mm range, however this exceptional specimen measures a whopping 9mm - nearly 1cm!!! Crystals of such size are extremely scarce - and this one displays quite handsomely as well!!! Simply a magnificent example of the species indeed!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
