Description/Interesting Notes:
An incredible example of this rare species from this famous find!!! This specimen consists of a cluster of large zunyite crystals prominently perched on
a small amount of matrix!!! This specimen is from the famous "Electric Meatball" boulder!!! The "Electric Meatball" was
a single boulder found randomly in a field nearly thirty years ago by Jim & Mary Walker as they were traveling from one collecting locality to another!!! This serendipitous find
produced some of the most impressive examples of the species known!!! The crystals exhibit characteristic pyramidal forms although they
show complex etching in areas!!! The crystals are undamaged, lustrous and translucent!!! The largest crystal measures an impressive .95cm!!!
Of course the crystals fluoresce the characteristic red color under SW UV as well!!! This specimen retains an old label from Bill Pinch as well!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!! STAY TUNED!!! MORE AUCTIONS WILL BE ADDED MONDAY NIGHT FOR A SPECIAL 3-DAY AUCTION, ENDING THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 29th!!!
