This specimen hosts an unusually dense and rich distribution of sharp, lustrous zunytite crystals on a quartz matrix!!! A great majority of the zunyite specimens from this locality have a very fragile, crumbly matrix however this specimen has a quartz matrix that actually hosts a small vug of quartz crystals as well!!! The zunyite crystals are sharp, glassy, translucent to near gemmy, and range in color from tan to colorless!!! The crystals range in size up to a very impressive 3mm!!!
