Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of this rare species from Arizona!!! This specimen hosts a group of impressive zunyite crystals prominently perched on matrix!!! Usually these zunyite crystals are quite small in size and almost always completely embedded in matrix - however this specimen hosts lustrous, translucent crystals up to a whopping 6.5mm!!! The largest crystal is acutally slightly curved, as you can see from the cracking - however this is a completely natural feature!!! The two main crystals jut out prominently from the matrix and catch the light quite noticeably in person!!! This is really an incredible example of this rare species - and way better than the pics show!!! There is a third crystal that is quite large as well, however it is complexly etched and flush with the matrix so it is difficult to discern in the photos, however in person it is much easier to see!!!
